Taxonomic remark Subsequently considered by the authors as a junior homonym of Walkerana Otte and Perez-Gelabert in Otte 2009 (Orthoptera), with the proposed replacement name Sallywalkerana Dahanukar, Modak, Krutha, Nameer, Padhye & Molur, 2016, however according to Dubois, 2017, Walkerana Otte and Perez-Gelabert is a nomen nudum and thus the genus is not preoccupied, and no replacement name is required.
