Taxonomic remark From Oskars et al., 2019: ...the genus Haloa is here reinstated for the IWP and Australasian species traditionally included in the former genus [Haminoea]. Haloa was originally proposed as a subgenus of Haminoea by Pilsbry (1921) and raised by Habe (1952) to genus level on the basis of the presence of denticulation along the inner edge of the lateral teeth of the radula. ... Haloa was supported by our BI [Bayesian inference analysis], which also rendered three highly supported subclades within the genus (Figs 1, 2), each with unique morphological features that could relate to adaptations to distinct life-histories. [details]
