Taxonomic remark Junior homonym of Bradylemur de Blainville, 1839 (Lorisidae), the latter currently treated as a synonym of Loris, refer McKenna & Bell, 1997. Kretzoi & Kretzoi, 2000 proposed Grandidieria as a replacement name for Bradylemur Grandidier, 1899, which would be relevant in the event that the latter is considered a separate genus from Archaeolemur. [details]
