Originally identified as a phyllocarid crustacean, however re-interpreted as a "scale or fin fulcrum of a ganoid fish" such as Catopterus (unclear whether this means Catopterus Agassiz, 1833 in Dipnoi, now Dipterus, or Catopterus Redfield, 1837 in Actinopterygii, now Redfieldius), see Rolfe, 1969.
