Taxonomic remark Kang et al., 2017 established a monophyletic classification of Tubulinea where the three subclades are Corycidia, Echinamoebia, and Elardia. The old subclasses of Tubulinea, per Cavalier-Smith et al., 2016, include Neolobosia, which is polyphyletic due to the inclusion of both Trichosida (in Corycidia) and Eulobosia (in Elardia), and as such are no longer accepted. IRMNG translates Kang et al.'s subclades as subclasses, since they maintain the subclass suffix -ia. [details]
