Taxonomic remark Proposed on p. 374 as distinguished provisionally from Geotria chilensis and in the synonymy of G. chilensis on p. 380. Evidently missed by authors until Hubbs & Potter 1971, but perhaps not available since Dionisia can be considered as a name published in synonymy and species not separately distinguished from G. chilensis and not treated as valid. (Eschmeyer). Family given as Petromyzontidae in WoRMS (Mar 2013), Geotriidae in Eschmeyer. [details]
