Taxonomic remark Both Calospilota and Cataspilota are found in the literature; according to Hallan (2012 version), Calospilota is the accepted name and Cataspilota a synonym, whereas in Mantodea Species File (2023), the reverse is given. Schwarz & Roy, 2019 list Cataspilota as valid, so this status is currently followed in IRMNG (not further researched). [details]
