Taxonomic remark Ichnogenus (dinosaur trackway). Possible tyrannosaurid affinity, but no associated tyrannosaur body fossils; refer Manning et al., 2008 for additional discussion. Not Tyrannosauropus Haubold, 1971, proposed to be the track of a tyrannosaur, but recent sources consider to be from a hadrosaur. This spelling ("-ipus") originally coined by Lessertisseur, 1955, but not applied to any material, therefore Lessertisseur's usage is a nomen nudum. [details]
