Taxonomic remark "Neither nummulitids nor rotaliids" according to Hottinger, 2009, however that author suggests an affinity with superfamily Nonionacea which are presently treated as rotaliids. Previously combined with Pellatospiridae by Loeblich & Tappan, 1987, an interpretation rejected by Hottinger. [details]
