Taxonomic remark Nomen novum for Catena Schröder, Medioli & Scott, 1989, non Catena Rikhter, 1975 (fossil Diptera). As Catena, ascribed by its describers to fam. Baculellidae, however Kaminski et al., 2008 comment that Catena Schröder et al. is "very similar to" the fossil genus Arthrodendron Ulrich, 1904, which is currently placed in a different family, Aschemocellidae. [details]
