A homotypic synonym of Rhabdolithes O. Schmidt 1870 according to Index Nominum Genericorum, however subsequently a nom. cons. prop. in botany in Doweld, 2012, recommended for acceptance by the Committee for Nomenclature of Fossils (Herendeen, 2017).
