Taxonomic remark The genus name Granatina was formerly used for species of Uraeginthus, however the name Uraeginthus has priority. Some sources e.g. Clements 6th edition (2006 onwards) and Avibase utilise Granatina for two species, however these are included within Uraeginthus in ITIS (2017) and Catalogue of Life (2017 version).
