Taxonomic remark The family name Microsphaeraceae is illegitimate because its type genus, Microsphaera Yoshimi et al., 1996, is a junior homonym of Microsphaera (Wallr.) Lév. in Fungi. Substitute names proposed by Tao et al. (2004) are Nakamurellaceae for the family and Nakamurella for the genus. [details]
