Taxonomic remark As unallocated Placentalia (=Eutheria) in McKenna & Bell, 1997; Wang et al., 2016 also list as order indet., family indet., with the remark: Obtususdon hanhuaensis was described by Xu (1977) based on a fragmentary right lower jaw with p4–m3 (holotype) and a fragmentary left lower jaw with p4–m3. Its taxonomic position was considered indeterminate and requires further study with the finding of some better specimens. [details]
