Descriptive info Lower Jurassic (Liassic); Alaska (Pogibshi Island opposite Kodiak). (Index Nominum Genericorum) [details]
Taxonomic remark A homotypic synonym of Palaeoarthrodendron R. Dayal 1964 according to Index Nominum Genericorum. Originally described as fossil alga, however re-interpreted as a foraminifer by Kaminski et al., 2008. In botany, a junior synonym of Arthrodendron (A.C. Seward) D.H. Scott, 1900 (thus the replacement with Palaeoarthrodendron was justified), however not preoccupied in zoology where it is a validly published (available) name. [details]
