Descriptive info Miocene; Mecsek Mountains, Southern Hungary. (Index Nominum Genericorum) [details]
Taxonomic remark This name also spelled Celtispollenites (e.g. in Song et al., 2004), with additional species under that spelling, more widely in the literature (e.g. the type species, Celtipollenites komloensis is also reported as Celtispollenites komloensis); both names are therefore listed as "accepted" in IRMNG although eventually one should be marked "unaccepted" [details]
