Descriptive info Fossil according to SN2000 [details]
Taxonomic remark A nomen nudum according to McKenna & Bell, 1997, in synonymy of Prodaphaenus Wortman & Matthew, however this is incorrect according to other sources e.g. Friscia & Rassmussen, 2010, who treat the genus as validly described but as a synonym of Miacis, as per the placement of its type species Miacis uintensis Osborn, 1895.
