Taxonomic remark According to Palynodata, this name, Kladosphaeridium is found only in a publication by M. Vavrdová, 1990 in the combination Kladosphaeridium eligmosum, which appears to be possibly the same taxon as Kladothecidium eligmosum (Vavrdová) Vavrdová, 1986, the type species of Kladothecidium. Whether the author intended Kladosphaeridium to be a new name or that name is just a lapsus is not known (original publication not seen). [details]
