Descriptive info Lower Jurassic (Liassic); Alaska (Pogibshi Island opposite Kodiak). (Index Nominum Genericorum) [details]
Taxonomic remark Substitute name for Arthrodendron E.O. Ulrich 1904, non (A.C. Seward) D.H. Scott 1900. (Index Nominum Genericorum), however according to Kaminski et al., 2008, Arthrodendron E.O. Ulrich is a foraminifer not an alga and therefore falls under the zoological Code, where it is not preoccupied, rendering this name (Palaeoarthrodendron ) a superfluous replacement name. [details]
