Descriptive info Fossil according to SN2000 [details]
Taxonomic remark This and Nothocyon Wortman & Matthew, 1899 are the same genus. McKenna and Bell (1997) list them as separate genera by accidentally decoupling the pre-Wang & Tedford (1992) interpretations as a borophagine and those author's reassignment to arctoidea. [details]
