Taxonomic remark Cribrosphaerella is correct in zoological nomenclature because of Cribrosphaera Popofsky 1906 (Radiolarida). (Index Nominum Genericorum). Includes Psyktosphaera Pospichal & Wise, 1990 (see Young & Bown, 1997). A homotypic synonym of Cribrosphaera Arkhangel'skij 1912 according to Index Nominum Genericorum. Anderson (2019) points out that under an amendment to the ICN incorporated in the 2018 edition (Article 54.1(b)(1)), Cribrosphaera Arkhangel'skij 1912 becomes invalid in botany since it was invalid in zoology at the time it was published, therefore Cribrosphaerella becomes the correct name under both Codes. [details]
