Taxonomic remark n.n. pro Plioceros Frick 1937 (Nomen. Zool.), however the latter name appears to be valid per the Paleobiology DB (November 2022) and other printed works. Plioceros Frick, 1937 was interpreted by Kretzoi & Kretzoi, 2000 as a junior homonym of Plioceros Quatrefages, 1866 (Annelida), however that name is probably invalid since it is an original spelling variant of Plioceras Quatrefages in the same work, which is the current accepted spelling for that taxon name.
