Taxonomic remark As Scolia (Lacosi). Argaman, 1996 proposed the emendation Lacosia, however while doing so selected a different type species than that previously designated (by Bequaert 1926), so Lacosia Argaman represents a different taxon, currently considered a synonym of Discolia, refer Kimsey & Brothers, 2016.
