Taxonomic remark Grossnickle, 2017 lists Tendagurutherium as a Peramuran, with Peramus Owen; Peramura is an infralegion in McKenna & Bell, 1997, containing the sole family Peramuridae. Wikipedia (May 2022), however notes that "Tendagurutherium [as been] also recently recovered as an australosphenidan" (= Infraclass containing Monotremata + allies), citing the reference Chimento, N., Agnolín, F. L., & Martinelli, A. G. (2016). Mesozoic mammals from South America: implications for understanding early mammalian faunas from Gondwana. Mus Argent Cienc Nat “B Rivadavia”. Contribuciones, 6, 199-209. [details]
