Taxonomic remark Generic name unavailable since it includes the type of another genus (Polygnathus). Bardashev & Weddige, 2003 re-defined the taxon concept excluding the type of Polygnathus as the new genus Eucostapolygnathus, a name later treated as a synonym of Polygnathus by Aboussalam et al., 2015.
