Taxonomic remark Based on a misidentified type species (see Greenwood 1980), specimens misidentified by Regan as T. pallida were Haplochromis ishmaeli Boulenger 1906, as recognized by Regan (1922). Probably should go to ICZN. Labrochromis treated as valid by Greenwood 1980. (Eschmeyer). [details]
