Taxonomic remark Authority untraced; possibly Pyatiletov, 1980, listed in Williams, 2012 as transferring author for Agidelia lophostriata (previously (Kildinella). Appears in Kanygin, 1981 (Russian work) as Agidelia (Kildinella) lophostriata, presumably an acritarch as per Kildinella. Williams, 2012 notes that Yankauskar, 1982 transfers Agidelia lophostriata to Valeria T.V. Jankauskas, 1982 (?a junior homonym of Valeria Minod, 1918, Magnoliopsida); Valeria lophostriata is listed under that name as an accepted taxon in Hofmann & Jackson, 1994. The second species listed, Agidelia reta, is listed as a syn. of V. lophostriata in Williams, 2012. [details]
