Taxonomic remark From Bek & Leary, 2012: The generic name Bothrodendrostrobus was first used in the index of Hirmer (1927, p. 701) for some material that he named Bothrostrobus in the text. Later Chaloner (1967) validated the name Bothrodendrostrobus by supplying a description and designating Watson’s material as the type specimens. [details]
