Taxonomic remark From Wisshak et al., 2019: Aggregatella Elliott, 1962, with its type ichnospecies A. pseudohieroglyphicus Elliott, 1962, was erected based on a thin-section and interpreted as a microcoprolite (pellet). However, these ‘small, fexuous curved or twisted elongate solid bodies’ are more likely microborings, but they cannot be identifed with certainty based on the two-dimensional thin-section image.
