Taxonomic remark According to Morales et al., 2019, the type species of Gedaniella, G. boltonii, comprises a mixture of 2 forms, the larger belonging in Sarcophagodes (recombined as S. boltonii) and at least some of the smaller ones belonging in Nanofrustulum. [details]
