Taxonomic remark From Hrabovský, 2021: The family Avatiaceae was placed within the order Ginkgoales (Anderson et al. 2007), but just its megasporophylls (specifically the morphology of fused female archaeophylls) as well as microporophylls support the placement of this family into the order Leptostrobales [=
