Taxonomic remark The authorship of this taxon is confused in the literature. Neave/Nomenclator Zoologicus gives Ziegler, 1962 (Forstchr. Geol. Rheinld Westf. 6, p. 403); Lindström, 1970 gives "Ziegler 1960"; while Dzik, 1991 gives "Helms 1959". ION has both "Ziegler" and "Helms ex Ziegler" for the genus, while for the species S. velifer (velifera in one instance) it variously has "Ziegler", "Helms 1959", and "Helms ex Ziegler ms". Sandberg & Ziegler, 1979, who describe a new species (S. peterseni), ascribe the authorship of the genus to Helms, 1959, presently followed in IRMNG. [details]
