Taxonomic remark Author, publication not given in Williams, 2012; included species are R. figuratum ascribed to Xing, 1962 MS; R. polycornum; R. saxiaense; and R. simplex. Reticulum simplex Zheng and R. cf. polycornum Zheng are listed in Su et al., Geol. Bull. China 24(5), 2005. Appears to be the same taxon as "Reticultum" (no author given) in Mullins, 2007, also Reticultum figuratum (5 citations) in Palynodata; currently in IRMNG, Reticultum is taken as the correct spelling, Reticulum as incorrect, although the opposite may apply. If this spelling is real, it would be a junior homonym of Reticulum C. de Stefani, 1879 (fossil Algae incertae sedis). [details]
