Taxonomic remark According to Stolarski & Russo, 2002, Acta Palaeontologica Polonica 47: 651-666, Beauvais (1986) erroneously proposed Haimeicyclus as a new generic name for specimens of Montlivaltia haimei not corresponding to the original description of that species, unaware that the generic name had already been legitimately erected based upon the same taxon.
