Taxonomic remark From DINOFLAJ3: According to Slimani (1994, p.77) this may be the taxonomic senior synonym of Eurysphaeridium (name not validly published). However, Eurysphaeridium has no formal type, and the other specific epithet assigned to Eurysphaeridium has been synonymized with another genus. Type: Slimani, 1994, pl.13, figs.1–4; text-figs.12A–B, as Neoeurysphaeridium glabrum. [details]
