Taxonomic remark Described as an Upper Cretaceous shrew, either the age or taxonomic assignation (or both) doubted by McKenna & Bell, 1997; Lopatin & Tesakov, 2004 accept as a true shrew (Soricidae) separate from Sorex, but age not older than Late Miocene. [details]
