Taxonomic remark pro -oma Wagler 1831 (Nomen. Zool.). Various sources suggest that Wagler's original name was spelled both Liostoma and Liostomum (original work not seen); if the latter is the case, then Grube's (1850) version becomes either a later usage, or an emendation that should retain the original authorship.
