Taxonomic remark The published work is dated 1966, but the actual publication date was April 1967 according to Cressey, 1977. The authorship is variously given as Laubier, Maillard & Oliver, 1967 (or 1966) and Laubier; according to Nomenclator Zoologicus the former instance (p. 1197 of the work) is a nomen nudum, and Laubier (p. 1218) is the available name, so the correct citation may be Laubier in Laubier, Maillard & Oliver, 1967 (original not seen). Cressey, 1977, synonymised Protodactylina with his Boylea, published in 1976, however this synonymy was rejected by Deets & Ho, 1988. [details]
