Descriptive info Lower Eocene; Matanamadh, Kachchh, India. (Index Nominum Genericorum) [details]
Taxonomic remark Not a nomen novum as implied by the article title, but a new genus for some specimens previously attributed to Couperipollis, refer original description. Saxena & Trivedi, 2006, accept Neocouperipollis for some species, but treat the type species N. kutchensis as a synonym of Acanthotricolpites kutchensis, which would render this genus a synonym of the latter (not further researched).
