Descriptive info Ichnogenus (fossil insect trace). Bellamy, 2006 (?2005) believed that Paleobuprestis was unavailable (described after 1930 with no type species designated) and so created the new name Paleobuprestis in its place, however as a trace fossil this requirement does not apply except for names created after 2000.
