Taxonomic remark Authority cited elsewhere as Gray, 1846. Listed as syn. of both Peponocephala and Lagenorhynchus by Wilson & Reeder, 2005, however type species Lagenorhynchus electra is now in genus Peponocephala. Listed as syn. of Lagenorhynchus in WoRMS (Mar 2013). [details]
