Taxonomic remark New name, with amended circumscription, for the taxon previously proposed as Costapolygnathus Bardashev, Weddige & Ziegler, 2002, however that name was invalid as it included the type species of Polygnathus. Used as a valid taxon by some authors, however considered as a synonym of Polygnathus by Aboussalam et al., 2015. [details]
