Taxonomic remark Although available, Dejean's name is neither accepted nor formally synonymized by any authority. It's two original species are placed in Solymus Lacordaire, 1872 and Frea Thomson, 1858. Phymasterna Laporte, 1840 is treated as a separate genus with type Phymasterna lacteoguttata and has no available synonyms. Bousquet recommended that an application be made to reject the name, but no such application has been made. [details]
