Listed as "Foliage; Devonian; Missouri, U.S.A." in Index Nominum Genericorum, however described as an animal (originally Graptolite, now Hydrozoa), refer Muscente & Allmon, 2013). Probably includes the lectotype of Ptilophyton Dawson, 1878, the other species of which are fossil plants. [details]
