Hendey, 1972 ("Chaetocerotaceae") is a replacement name, however in WoRMS (2019), its type species Muelleriopsis limbata (Ehrenberg) Hendey, 1972 is "represented as Pyxidicula limbata Ehrenberg, 1844", and Pyxidicula C.G. Ehrenberg, 1834 (which is a nom. rej.) is accepted as Rhopalodia O. Müller, 1895. [details]
