Taxonomic remark Listed as "Rudniana Gol" of "uncertain phytoplankton group" in Mullins et al., 2007, with no included species; Palynodata has entries for "Rudniana golub" (from Ragozina et al., 1985) and "Rudniana sp" (from Hofmann, 1987). Another mention is in Keller, 1984, who states: "The entire Upper Vendian sequence is characterized by rudnianids (Rudniana sp. div.)", which is taken to mean diverse [=multiple] species. (Keller, B. M.. (1984). Upper Precambrian Systems. International Geology Review, 26(3), 247-261), while Keller & Yankauskas, International Geology Review, 1982, refer to "filamentous algae of the Rudniana group". [details]
