Taxonomic remark Originally described as a crustacean nauplius allied to Marria Ruedemann, 1931, but Marria was later determined to be a graptolite. Rolfe (1969) lists the genus as Arthropoda incertae sedis, but suggests it might possibly be a hydroid or dendroid. Sepkoski (2002) lists the genus under class Marrellomorpha, order Mimetasterida. [details]
