Jordan's replacement name Ainia for Callopterus Thiollière, 1858 was based on the claim that this was preoccupied by "Callopterus Chaudoir 1838" in Coleoptera. However Chaudoir's name is spelled Calopterus, therefore Callopterus Thiollière, 1858 is not preoccupied and Ainia is a superfluous replacement name. [details]
