Taxonomic remark Dutoitia is the original / correct spelling according to Andrews, 1970 and Index Nominum Genericorum, also used in Plumstead, 1967. Rayner (1988) uses the spelling "Dutoitea" (copied from there into Taylor et al., 2009) but this appears to be a lapsus. Rayner considers the genus Dutoitia ("Dutoitea") and Cooksonia overlapping, with Dutoitia as potentially a senior synonym of the latter. [details]
