See Kullander et al. 1999 for information on the type species of Oreinus and Schizothorax that differs from information here; they also address the dating of Oreinus relative to Schizothorax. Also in McClelland 1939. Misspelled Oreina by Gistel 1848. Englottogaster Gistel 1848X is an unneeded replacement, Oreinus not preoccupied by Orena. (Eschmeyer). [details]
